Let’s see what you’ve been up to:
Flora has invented her very own Sweetanator- then used imperative verbs to advertise buying them! Wow! I think I would like one!
Zak has created this wonderful poster persuading the reader to shop local, from our Geography lesson based on ‘Where does our food come from’!
Today you are going to practise using parenthesis – remind yourself what parenthesis is here: https://www.thepunctuationguide.com/parentheses.html
Then watch this fun video! https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/supermovers/ks2-english-commas-brackets-dashes-with-ben-shires/zh32cqt
Today I would like you to edit/rewrite your advert from yesterday, but this time adding parenthesis to add extra information to the reader.
Year 3’s can you focus on the use of brackets?
Year 4’s can you try and use a variety of brackets, dashes and commas?

If you have any magnets around the house- have a look at them and practise using them – which materials do magnets attract to? Watch this video – https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zk9rkqt you then might want to find objects around the house that you believe will be magnetic, or non-magnetic, and test them out!
