As you know last week, the majority of the year 5 and 6 (ourselves) set off on an astonishing residential trip to Arthog Outdoor Education Centre. We accomplished oodles of fun activities- indoors and outdoors. We were also taught how to survive in the wild like: how to build a fire safely; to select the right plants to eat when you’re lost and how to make hot chocolate with a ration of supplies. We got up to a range of activities, such as:
- Gorge walking (a little wet);
- Canoeing (freezing cold);
- Mountain walking (aching legs);
- Orienteering (challenging);
- Night time activities (scary);
- Rock climbing (high up) and
- Team building (AWESOME)!
