School fayre cancellation

Unfortunately this years School Summer fayre will not be able to go ahead.

Hopefully we will be able to have a fabulous Christmas fayre in December.

The Friends group have a great fundraising idea that they will chare with you shortly for the children for this term.

Playgrounds after school

Please could we remind all parents that the school playgrounds should be cleared of parents and children 5 minutes after your child has finished school for the day.

Please do not gather in groups on either playground or allow children to be running around when your child has been let out from class at the end of their day – this also applies if your childs class are the last class to come out of school at the end of the day.

Thank you for your co-operation in this.

School Fayre

Saturday 10th July ( weather permitting) the Summer Fayre will be held outside on the school field.

There will be lots of stalls for you to come along and have a look at and spend your pennies.

If anyone would like to run a stall please contact the school office or speak to one of the Friends committee

Kerrie Williams, Tahlia Williams, Sam Short, Sarah Parry

Your support at this event is invaluable and we will be having some collections in the lead up to the fayre for the tombola/raffle etc which details will be published soon.

Unfortunately if the weather is bad/predicated to be raining on the Friday night/Saturday the event will have to be cancelled as it is not possible this year to hold the fayre inside – please keep an eye on social media for any updates on the Friday

Fingers crossed for a nice day and a great turnout

Many thanks

Bags to School

This month there will be a bags to school collection

on Monday June 28th at 09.00

The bags will be handed out in classes very soon and please can they be returned on the date only– not before as any wet/spoilt clothes or ripped bags the company will have to leave at school for us to dispose of as they will not take them.

We do not have any place inside school to store them.

You can fill the bags up with all your unwanted clothing etc and this will then generate money for the school

Thank you for your support with this 🙂

Sun cream and sun hats

Please could we remind everyone to send in sun cream ( to be self applied ) or for long wear sun cream to be applied before school.

Also for sun hats to be brought in – with this weeks warmer weather and the next few weeks hopefully being the same it is important that the children have sun cream on and hats to wear

Please ensure that your child has a water bottle every day – this is extremely important to ensure the children stay hydrated throughout the day.

Many thanks

Car Parking at school

Please could we remind everyone that you should not arrive in the car park more than 5 minutes before you collect/drop off your child/ren.

Please can you ensure that you park in the car park and not the lane.

The staggered times are in place to ensure that there are no crossover times of Classes which should mean that there are enough spaces in the car park for each family at their designated pick up/drop off time.

This will keep all families safe and means that the lane is free of cars for any families who are coming in and out of the car park or who walk down the lane in the mornings or afternoons and will stop any traffic problems on the main road.

Thank you for your co-operation
