Busy Half Term in Class 5

We have had a very busy start to the year in Class 5! As well as working extremely hard in all lessons, we have had a bit of fun.

In our science topic about heart and lungs, we had a very exciting lesson where we got to look at a lamb’s heart and understand the structure of this. We were all very brave and had a look, some of us even wanted to feel the muscle walls!

A few weeks ago, the year 6s had the opportunity to work with PC Clare on the STAR project, where they looked at how to be responsible and keep themselves safe. All had a great time and learnt loads. At the end of the week we had the opportunity to try on alcohol goggles which proved challenging to perform simple tasks and made us giggle!
