Dear Parent/Carer,
As we come to the close of the term, I wanted to write out with an update before we break up for the Christmas holidays.
There is no doubt that this has been an incredibly challenging term. Our children have shown exceptional levels of resilience in and around the school and have followed the new routines and timetables superbly. Although we have not been able to run any whole-school activities or after-school clubs, the children have not let this dampen their spirits in the slightest.
I want to express my gratitude to all the staff members in our school. They have worked exceptionally hard to provide education, support and encouragement under challenging circumstances. They have planned home learning where isolation has been required, supported the start of our catch-up work and ensured a suitable festive Christmas atmosphere in the last week of term! The Friends of Crudgington have again been superb in their support of the school. Many of the Christmas related treats were only possible through their continued hard work.
Finally, as ever, I would like to thank parents and carers for your continued support with the modified routines in and around the school. Your assistance has helped us to keep everyone as safe as possible in and around the school site.
On behalf of the staff and governors, I would like to wish you and your family a Happy Christmas!
Please stay safe and well as we welcome in 2021
