On Thursday, Class 1 had a wonderful trip to West Midland’s Safari Park. First we went through the drive through Safari. We saw lots of different animals including, tigers, lions, giraffes, zebras and rhinos. The children used their counting skills to keep a tally of the different animals we saw. They also played animal bingo and had to cross an animal off when they had seen it.
We stopped off for lunch before we made our way into the Land of the dinosaurs attraction. We saw lots of different dinosaurs, like the ones that we had been learning about in class. The dinosaurs were ginormous and some of them moved and roared….it didn’t scare the children though.
We made sure we stuck to the rules!
There was even time to go and watch a sea lion show and meet some of the different reptiles, fish and insects.
It was a jam packed day for the children… some of them even managed to fit in a nap on the way home!
