Class 1 update

It has been lovely to see you all over the last 2 days on Teams and I have loved receiving your updates to me via the class 1 email account too. Thank you for the pictures you have sent. Don’t forget to send me more if you’d like to appear on the class page, so your friends can see what you have been getting up to.

Harry made some great shape potato stampers to create his shape repeating patterns. Look how many patterns Izzy and Alfie made by printing different objects from around the house.

Elliot has been very hard at work. I love his little desk set up for phonics, where he has been doing some super spelling. He also made a great sandwich castle for our D and T activity and he has made an excellent start to creating his junk modelling castle.

Rosa also took on the junk modelling castle challenge and created a palace fit for a a princess. It must have taken ages to create such a lovely design.

My Year 1s have also been busy getting stuck in with their writing, phonics and maths activities. I’ve seen some lovely writing from Lola and great reading skills by Harleigh to play ‘buried treasure’. Ruby also came up with a genius way to record work on word sheets, without printing them off.
