Please find below I run through of home learning activities for the children who are at home isolating/awaiting PCR tests. If your child is poorly with Covid, don’t feel obligated to complete the activities. We hope to see you back in school soon. Home learning tasks will be uploaded daily, so check back on the class page daily.

Buried treasure game. Can you read the words and decide if they are a real word or a rubbish word? Sort them into the right side of the table.
In Literacy, we have been working on constructing our own simple sentences, making sure that we use finger spaces between words, a capital letter at the start and a full stop at the end.
Can you write simple sentences to match these pictures. Think of sentences between 5-8 words long. i.e. The car is on the road. Use your phonics mats in your reading diary to help you when sounding out your words to spell them.
As a challenge, why not use a describing word to describe the vehicle i.e. The red car is on the road.
