Next week in maths, we will be looking at measuring volume. In preparation, can you have a go at measuring liquid using any measuring jugs you have around the house. Can they read the number from the scale to find the volume?
Literacy:
This week, the children have been learning about adding s and es to nouns to make them plural i.e. one frog- lots of frogs
Choose 3 nouns that you have to add s to and 3 that you have to add es to and write them in sentences.

This week, the children have been writing their own Native American folktales. For homework, I’d like them to write a description of a Native American warrior. They need to use expanded noun phrases to describe their appearance and role within the tribe.
Maths:
This week, we have looked at finding change by counting back on a number line to subtract.Children need to work out the change they would get from £2 or £5, when they buy differently priced items.
