Literacy:
If your child has 10 or more common exception spellings to learn for next Friday, please concentrate on these for the next week.
However, if your child was able to spell the majority of the common exception words, they can complete a book review of their favourite book, answering these questions:
1.What is the book about?
2.Who is your favourite character and why?
3.Why is this book your favourite?
4.Who would you recommend this book to and why?
Maths:
Year 1: Children need to follow the instructions to complete a dragon drawing using 2D shapes.
Year 2: To either name 2D shapes and their properties or identify lines of symmetry in shapes.
