Dear Parents/Carers,
We have reached the half term break and everyone – children and staff alike – have now settled well into the new school routines. The children have been incredibly resilient during this period and classrooms are buzzing with work and excitement.
Although we have been severely limited in our wider school activities, we have been able to run Bikeability, STAR and have started to attend some football fixtures around the borough. The Friends of Crudgington have been brilliant in providing competitions and arranging and advertising the whole school Halloween themed mufti day.
I would like to thank all parents and carers for supporting the school with our staggered starts/ends and face mask requirements. This really does go a long way in ensuring that our site does not get overly busy and that everyone remains as safe as possible.
Mrs Bennett has now been appointed to the role of Office Assistant and Breakfast Club Manager. She will now oversee after-school club, breakfast club and will be working in the office alongside Mrs Cunningham.
We have said a fond farewell to our sports coach, Harry who has now moved to Manchester.
Marie from ActivSports will be in school with us after the half-term and has already met the children.
On behalf of everyone in school I would like to wish you a restful half term and we are looking forward to welcoming you back on Monday 2nd November.
A.S. Ames
