Well done to Christopher and Matthew Broadhead who were our first ever Thank you Friday winners ( usually there will be one winner per week ) this was for raising money for charity by doing a very hard challenge of walking up and down the Wrekin three times in one day!
The staff and volunteers within school each week are able to nominate a child from any class for a special Thank you Friday award.
This award is for acts of kindness, bravery, showing care to others, charity work, overcoming challenges, helping people or supporting other children. These can be either in school or out of school – if we are told about them 🙂
One child across the whole school will be given this award each Friday and a letter will be sent home to their parents/carers to inform them the reason their child has been given this award. Whoever is chosen will receive a token to come to the school office on Monday to select a treat of their choice to take home.
This is something that is in addition to Star of the week, good to be green, handwriting awards, Headteachers award which will continue each week for each class.
