Thank you so much for all the completed home learning work that has been sent in. I am so proud of my class and how hard you have worked, with such high quality in presentation too.
Here is a selection of the Maths and English work completed this week.

Home learning is also a great way to develop skills in different ways. I am loving the creativeness of the tie dye! Roll on the warmer weather so you can wear your new top.

Wow Class 4, you have really impressed me this week with your fabulous resilience and how you have embraced home learning again. I am super proud to share some of the work you have been completing. With our online resources, I can see we are starting to dominate the Times Table Rockstar leaderboard – well done to Ethan (who has now beaten my score!) and Ben is hot on my heels too. Let’s see if we can make the top 20 names all in class 4.
Thank you to the parents who have been able to send photos of work completed. It is great to see how the children have risen to the challenge of remote learning again.
Well done to Dexter, who has been working really hard this week.
Zak is busy constructing a volcano, which he had for Christmas. I can’t wait to see the video of the eruption when it is ready.
Flora created the moon phases using Oreo cookies. I wonder if she had the tricky task of eating all the parts though to create this?
Olivia created a scale model of the planets using her Math skills from this morning and her Lego figures. This is amazing Olivia – well done!
Liam has researched some famous explorers from the start of our History topic this term. Fabulous work Liam – well done!
I really enjoy seeing all the amazing work you have been doing at home. I am a very proud teacher of a wonderful team.

I will be clearing out the shed on Thursday of all the wellies from Class 2.
I will leave them by Class 3’s door for them to be collected on Friday, or Monday on transition days.
Thank you!

Hello key stage one!
Summer holidays are here and I am hoping we have lots of lovely, sunny and warm days to look forward to with lots of fun with our families.
I love reading and I have a challenge for you over the holidays. I would like you to read six books and complete the reading challenge sheet. There will be prizes and certificates when you bring your challenge sheet into school in September.
I am really looking forward to seeing all the wonderful stories you encounter on your summer reading journey.
Have fun!
Mrs Horton
